Spiralling into the eye of the storm, large shells on the outside radius slowly transpire, each rotation taking a long time to form, gently winding, curve follows curve inwards as each rotation becomes smaller, so do the shells, creating a visual velocity and speed that pulls you into the artwork. A portal to another world!

Made from thousands of North Sea shells, each shell sorted by hand for size, shape, and form.
