"In a screen-saturated world, my work offers a moment of stillness and reflection. I hope each piece encourages people to pause, look more closely, and rediscover the restorative beauty of the natural world."

Mandy Blake transforms discarded shells and natural fragments into intricate sculptural artworks that celebrate the beauty, rhythm and quiet order of the natural world. Her practice is shaped by patience, intuition, and an unwavering attention to detail, inviting viewers to slow down and reconnect with nature's calming presence.

With a background in graphic design, Mandy's artistic journey began in 2018 following a pivotal life shift that led her away from spontaneous creativity towards a deeply focused and disciplined practice. Largely self-taught, she develops each composition through an intuitive process of selecting, arranging, removing, and refining hundreds of individual shells until balance, movement, and harmony emerge.

Mandy Blake is a British artist living and working in Herefordshire. Through her evolving body of work, Mandy explores the relationship between craftsmanship, nature and mindful observation, revealing the extraordinary beauty that exists within the overlooked materials of the natural world.
